Let’s Celebrate Canada!

Canada Day is so important to me. I believe that the opportunities afforded to us as Canadians are directly responsible for the amazing lives we get to live.

I love that in Canada, regardless of the language you speak, the colour of your skin or the heritage of your ancestors, that we are all free to live life to the fullest, to chase our dreams, to live equally under the law and to seek achievements only limited by our own determination.

And the symbol that we can all look to unify us in our patriotism is our beautiful Canadian Flag.

After two years of pandemic restrictions and cancelled celebrations, Haldimand-Norfolk residents are ready to gather again and celebrate what makes Canada the best country in the world. In anticipation of Canada Day, and to add to the festivities, my office has acquired Happy Canada Day lawn signs.

As Canadians get ready for the biggest national celebration of the year, I invite anyone in Haldimand-Norfolk to request their own lawn sign to celebrate and express their love for Canada.

Quantities are limited, so I encourage you to request yours ASAP.
